MULLACKER

Construct: Noun
Definition: A rough unskilled person (especially a hurler or footballer).
Use: He's a mullacker.
He's rough, unskilled.
Derivation: Probably Irish 'Mullachán' - a sturdy, fairly big boy. (Dinneen). And note 'Mullock' (dating back to 1852) - an ignorant or otherwise worthless person. (Partridge).
