Definition: A person of insipid or annoying character.
Use: He's a noodeenaw.
He's an insipid individual.
Derivation: Irish 'Niúdar neádar' - indecision, an undecided reply, and 'Bhí niúdar neádar aige - he was hesitating'. (Dinneen). And 'Niúdar neudar' - indistinct, grumbling, indistinct muttering of any sort. (Ó Briain).
