GUZZLE
Construct:
Noun
Definition:
A party, social gathering.
Use:
I was at a guzzle last night.
I was at a party last night.
Derivation:
Doubtful, but note 'Guzzle' - to eat drink hurriedly, hence party. (Perhaps Old French 'Gossiller' - chatter, vomit) (Gossier - throat).
