Construct: Verb
Definition: To climb, shin up a pipe or pole.
Use: To wax a Gaza.
To climb up a gas lamp.
Derivation: Unknown, but possibly from 'Wax' - to grow. And note 'Wax-flower' - a climbing plant. (Chambers).
